While our parent company handles full-service remodeling and restoration, Mihalko’s Bathrooms offers a specialized, streamlined focus on creating stunning, functional, and value-boosting full bathrooms—from quick half-bath refreshes to comprehensive aging-in-place conversions.

A timeline of Trust and Growth
Mihalko’s General Contracting has grown from a local startup into a regional leader by adapting to customer needs and maintaining a focus on quality. This history is the foundation of Mihalko’s Bathrooms.
The Start
Founded by Louis Mihalko III as a small handyman business, operating out of his mother’s station wagon. Focused on quality work and building relationships.
Early Growth
Outgrew the initial basement office and moved into the first dedicated office space in Windber, PA, leading to the first hires in sales and administration.
Expansion of Services
Launched the Fire & Water Restoration Division, gaining deep expertise working with insurance carriers and setting a new standard for rapid response and comprehensive reconstruction.
The Design Center Era
Purchased land and built the Johnstown Design Center, establishing a dedicated space for clients to visualize and select materials for kitchen and bathroom projects.
Regional Expansion
Opened the Altoona Design Center and expanded into State College, officially expanding our remodeling footprint beyond the initial core area.
